My brothers mate has a golf cab he bought about a year ago, he bought it for 800, then it developed some problems and he took to do a garage to get diagnosed, he was told the head gasket had gone and was quoted, well lets just call it alot. He left the car in the garage and fucked off to uni, now he just doesnt car and says may aswell burn it. Seems a shame as its a lush car, black, pretty mint looking iirc, on bbs alloys and lowered. I dug up an old thread that said its about 20 quid for a replacement gasket but is it really that easy to replace?

Cheap for the part. Harder Labour for someone with no experience etc tho.

Have to go quite far down on the Engine to get to the Head Gasket!
