I'd probably choose the Mondeo, but then again it depends on what your using it for, and if your bothered about the snob factor

mondeos are nice cars, driven a few and TDCi's are well quick!!!

The Mondeo, IMO it's a better car. You pay for the badge on a Merc.

Tough call, probably the Mondy cus I think Merc build qualities are getting worse..

i'd go 4 the mondeo, cos the engines are pretty good, especially with the 6 speed box, an you will get more kit in it than you would the merc.

got a couple of pool cars with TDCi very torquey and pretty much instant boost. handling suprised me as well, defo a sorted chassis.

I have driven a merc and a mondeo.
I cant say id rave about the merc.

But the mondeo was a heap of shit and you pay for alot more than "the badge"
