i dont see all the fuss over this.

lets put it into perspective:

1. Some dude bought your Keyboard ( ) for 17.99, with a delievery charge of 20.

2. he thinks 20 is a bit steep and doesntget paid til (yesterday)

3. he trys his luck and asks for a cheaper delievery via a cheaper service

4. sam says no

5. the dude thinks, fair enough, and pays the ful 37.99

6. sam delivers

7. feedback is left by both parties

The point is he might leave bad feedback because I didn't want to send it to him by 2nd class post, and might moan that £20 P&P is expensive.

just say that, if he dont pay then report him then put it back on.
you get a seller refund from ebay and he gets a strike for not paying.
only problem is feedback, just say if you leave bad feedback you will also leave bad feedback, remember you can reply to feedback left to you.

Yes I won't leave feedback until he does so first...

Can I report him for leaving bad feedback if he leaves me bad feedback? Because I technically have not done anything wrong?

you can report bad feedback and ebay will remove it for you.
at the end of the day he shouldnt have bought if he thought the postage was too high.
first thing i more or less check when iam on ebay.

You can report it, but eBay won't remove it.

I've had that problem before and they wouldn't get involved.

Can only mutually withdraw it, both parties must agree.

20 quid is a bit steep for 5kg but that isn't technically your fault Sam its more the post office.

Special delivery for a 2kg item is £17.50 with Royal maill, so £20 wasnt steep.

I think with special delivery anything between 2KG - 10KG is £19.00.

I have used couriers and parcel force etc. in the past but to be honest I personally haven't had any problems with anything sent by special delivery, so although it costs possibly a bit more than a normal courier or whatever, I know it will get there when they say it will, and in one piece too...

For example, the keyboard I sent out on friday, the girl behind the counter* (I think she was Swedish, but she had such nice big breasts and she was fit too ) told me that the guy would get the parcel on monday, but he received it yesterday morning!

* may have to send some more parcels from said post office to get some pics of fit bird behind the counter!
