Waaaaa

they aint that quick on the trot!!!

Had a go with one last night and it pulled away by about 1-2 cars lengths on a dash from 20-ish to about a ton.

NNEEED to de-cat and get a full zaust system now!!

yup... was an 05 plate 340 jobbie...

I think he was laughing at me cos I tried to gun it with the boost controller turned off.... which means I went no-where, and it sailed right on past me like im sitting still!!!


Turned it on, caught up as he had slowed early for the next roundabout, went round with me following the his line and matching the speed, came off the roundabout in second flat out and I was just sitting in the fast lane not coming past it.

both go into third gear and the evo pulls about a cars length away, into fourth and the same again.... next roundabout I got the and we went our seperate ways.

I was grinning ear to ear the whole way home!

they are still the car to beat then, anyone who has a go with an impreza or evo cant help posting something like "oh its not that fast yadda yadda" or "i caned one 50-120 or something similar"

for a spanking new 27k+ mitsubishi I was impressed to still be in sight of it... so read "they aint that fast..." as "I was well pleased to keep a similar pace".... better??

Evo FQ range is undoubtedly an amazing package..... just assumed it would rape my ass when it didnt!

those controls are lethal if you have ever tried using them!! Its so on / off with the accelerator I wouldnt dare have them in any Evo let alone an FQ340!
