I have got a viper induction kit on my corsa c 1.2 but it starts up fine from cold but from hot it has problems when the automatic choke is not on and my spanner light flashes the car will eventually start after a few goes?

the Z12 XE in these corsa's dont like induction kits,i hadone on mine for a day before ripping it off and my mate burnt 2 air mass meters out with one,if its just sucking in hot air it will just be very bogy with hardley any go as the hot air hampers performance but why its flashing the spanner i dont know,it could be a pre warning the amm is on its way out

The car has a cold air feed 2 the original inlet at the bumper and I have got the EGR valve fastened down but it some times makes a clinking sound on tick over then stops clinking when u give it sum gas?
The car runs fine but when u try 2 start it from hot it whodunit start first time then the spanner light comes on flashing then u remove the keys and re try then it will start the car has the factory alma ?

We told you that you would have problems putting an induction kit on your 1.2.

your best bet would be to take the viper off and refit the o/e air box and also but the egr valve back to nromal and see if the car runs ok,if so then problem solved its the viper causing the problem,i personaly hate induction kits and will only run a derescricted air box in my cars

would tek 2 find the prob u think coz me dads work has one ?
so it would not cost a thing.

you could give it a try and see if it brings up any problems after all it wont cost you anything
