i would imagine you fit them onto the body then the rubber and nut at the top. reckon theyre awkward to tighten up though as you need 2 spanners and i cant see how you would do it without a windy gun, or clamping the shocker lower down.
is it actually gonna eliminate any body roll though when it isnt actually attached to a slid part of the car, as its just the top of the shockers either side?
maybe i miss-understand it all though

just take the top nuts off, the put the brace on and tighten back up... thats how mine's on, metal washers and rubber spacer bush things under the brace 
i'll nip over and fit it for a cuppa if you're stuck

yeah, tesco bags, not netto.
mine is a home made rear brace anyway, lol. thats all the info i shall give........
one bolted to the rear turret sides would surely be a better desing would it not?

the omp jobby that effectively joins the shock tops together seems to work quite well i think 
(my teabags are from asda you cheeky git)
