thougth if put this up, as alot of you have fusion bits, and its a cool car
[quote="Lee @ Fusion"]Hi chaps , some of you are aware that im am currently building a S1 rear wheel drive ,
well im actually on with 2 of the damn things
the S1 is all my work from start to finish , but im still !!!!!!!!!! waiting on pannels so its currently collecting dust in the shop ,
The other is a original Genesis Mk 3 that had seen a dodgy owner after it had a fire near the fuse box , he brush painted it , let it go rusty and basicly didnt know what he was doing , this is where i stepped in ,
having the S2 rack car i wanted to try a RWD , But i dont like saphs and the S1 is going to be a road car ,
Bring n the genesis/fusion-mobile
this is how it was advertised , didnt look to bad in the piccys and the bloke said he was "preparing it " for rallying but somthing had come up ( i recon he just ran out of Dulux or his 6" brush had lost all its bristles

then i got it back to the workshop and stuck it on the ramp for a better look around , not to bad but was on the brink of a rot box and it again looked a proper mess!

I gave it a rub downand a quick lick of paint in the engine bay to make it a little more respectable and so i could see what i was doing , then stared to trial fit my proposed engine , Zetec , cross member , rack , turbo , gear box , u know the rest

once i had everything fettled , trail fitted and the first bits fabricated i took it all back off again and prepped it for a good paint , the inside went back to bare metal as it had been painted about 30 times , the engine bay had 10 different colours and there was that shitty tetrosyl everywhere
hears the end result , ( the outside , doors , etc will be done later in my mates oven )
befor

after

Back to the engine , basicly a Focus RS engine , modified sump to fit over the rack and member , relocated alternator and idler so the water pump goes the right way T4 blower on a " itll do for now " manifold , Bike carbs ( R1) and cusom plenem , Modified sump for starter motor , T5 box with a modified release bearing , ( the clutch assy is 15mm thinner than the cossy one ) Fabricated gearbox mount and WCXM engine mounts from retro ford Theirs loads of modding , fettling and altering i had to do but id be hear all day ,

Lee i may say is one of the most genuine guys i ever met!!
I saw that car getting built when i had my cage fitted, the very first steps though!
hes a proper engine nut and kept me entertained while i was there, when i get new astra and also my special project, will definately be going to fusion for more custom parts!!

As above really, Lee really is a legend.
He really has a talant, but is so down to earth.. He sat and chatted to me for 3 hours whilst doing bits on my car.. He just seems so natural with a welding gun in his arm!
That said, he obviously can do much MUCH more than just weld.... He is a car modding nut!!!
Quality!
