Blizzards in the middle of December with temps down to -15C

The predictions at the moment are for the 1st average winter in years.
This is colder than we normally have but not day after tomorrow style like the papers are claiming.
Ed, they run computer simulations constantly for the weather and produce lots of charts.
These of course can't actually predict the future but when there is a significant volume of data from lots of different places conclusions can be drawn up as to what the most likely conditions will be.
