How hard is it to put some light emitting diodes in place of standard bulbs for the dashboard, and for electric window switches, etc.?

The interior lights in my car are gay and I want more brightness, damn it!

The chav that used to work here, her old man traded in his Rover barge for a Nissan 300ZX. I saw him driving it the other day, it had blue LED washer jets and under car neons...
