As above what car should my dad get, as his has just been wrote off..... he needs to have:

5 doors, diesel, automatic and spend no more than £5000 he's a sales rep so something comfy too, and preferably largish car.

Any ideas? I was thinking a honda accord, as honda's were in the top 3 of top gears survey yesterday

was watching used car roadshow yesterday and a man wanted the same description of car. they found him a new shape vectra for 5k, and also a primera and seat leon. all around 2002 and for under 6k.

yeh looking at a4's but there quite high mileage, see a nice vw bora the with 36,000 miles hes gonna take a look at that i think, cheers for suggestions though

Bora's also a good choice slightly cheaper do they make all these in auto's (deisles?)
