what do people know about the old ones?, has flip up lights etc.

seen one locally for sale

really need a safer car for winter so if i don't find something soon i'll prob end up with that BMW 320 i mentioned before

well i only seen the front end as i drove past so far, may go back tonight and stop.

what different specs did they do in that shape? did they make a GT4?, will that be turbo and 4wd?

what shit ones did they make?

any common faults?

do the engines last well? etc

there is 3 versions with flip up lights.

they did do a GT4 with flip up lights but it be on a J plate or something.
GT4 was 2.0 16v Turbo 3S GTE engine with 4 wheel drive.

Celica GT-4

The GT4 Celica featured four wheel drive and the 3S-GTE engine which produced over 250 bhp. These cars are still highly sought after today as they were relatively rare, and offer very good handling combined with lots of power. GT4s are somewhat heavier than the FWD cars at a little over 1400Kg, but the extra power gives them a 0-60 time of just over 6 seconds. Insurance groups for GT4 cars is 17.

its like that one in top pic, on the left, didn't see a bonnet vent

had a private plate on it so didn't know reg

no vent means its N/A

it will have the 3S-GE engine. Same engine as mine. Very strong and goes quicker than you would think.

Jimbo... the ST185 is a great used car buy...

BUT... unless you get a good 'un its going to cost a tidy amount in maintenance bills.

find out what MR2 it is 3scum.

Try and say away from imports because they are more expensive to insure. well i found it hard to get quotes but you might have better luck.

MR2 turbos were all imports.

you can get yourself an ST185 GT4 for 2k... or less for a not so clean one!
