am selling something on here and lad sent me cash thru the post, enevelope looks like its been opened and there is £10 note missing

got it sent to work and receptionist signed for it, ot knowing what its meant to be

Did all the money get taken?

As if not then Id be suprised if someone had opened it and only taken some of the cash...would of been easier and less chance of getting caught to take it all and dump the letter in the bin!

had to be signed for

recorded 1st class it says

doubt receptionist took it very much

can see the end has been opened quite carefully

am fcuked off

Your choices are cover the loss yourself, meet him halfway or tell him he's not having the goods until they're paid for in full. I would try for the middle one.

if sending money you should always stick it to a bit of card including coins,then send it at least recorded delivery

Cash is sent at that persons own risk, everyone knows you should never really post cash....

I would explain whats happened, if the guy wants to take it up with the post office thats up to him however its not your fault so dont fork out the money yourself

i send cash recorded delivery quite alot and never had a problem so far...but yeah it's a risk...
