high guys i need your help my car is curently in the bodyshop havin a smooth boot dun, but the motor i gave him to act as a solinoid isnt goin to work so i am now stuck with no car an no soliod to put on the car once the boot is completed

i hav heard the kits are ebay are shoot! so i need to know what u guys hav used, where u hav got them from an how much, i am now to the point of sayin finish the car off an make a piece of string as the pulley just so i can hav my car bk till i can find a proper solinoid

any advice wud b helpfull

I've got a clifford solinoid. Seems to be fine. They break if yu overload hem though,, you can only have them on for a fraction of a second really, just enough to open the boot otherwise they burn out...
