I.e. long term leasing but not with the intention of buying? Does anyone know if insurance etc is included or not and if not how easy is it to get cover? Looking at some offers they have at the minute and you can get a tigra for £190 a month over 18 months.

Yeh, mine kind of works like a personal contract scheme.
I pay £xxx a month for 13 months, and to own the vehicle after that time I pay a ballon payment (residual value)...

Its crap. Just buy a car outright.

we do pcp deals at work(SEAT main dealer). you make the payments as arranged and at the end of it make one large payment which is advised at the start of the term so you own the car, hand it back and walk away or p/x the car and whatever its worth over the guaranteed future value can be used as deposit on the next car. They are on limited mileage but that only comes into play if you hand the car bacl and walk away.

I looked in to this, basically my car at the moment has cost hundreds of pounds per month and it worth nothing, for the same money I could have A4 convertible as well as loads of other stuff that is 25k-30k car, same monthly outgoings.
