Just got a quote of adrian flux for putting a 2.0 16v redtop in my car, they quoted me £2338 tpft.
19,been driving 18 months, with all mods.
Anybody know any other companies that will insure a 2.0 ?

brentacre in swansea, they quoted me £1500 tpft or £2500 fc or a 2.0 redtop. Im 20 with no 'no claims discount', not accidents or convictions etc.

Llyods TSB, need to phone them tho as an engine conversion is just a engine mod, i pay £1412 FC, no NCB at 21 with a claim last year

I wouldn't rate Flux for engine conversions... They seem to give people quotes like this...

£1500 fc at 19 with 0 ncb, thats lots of clauses though and a good postcode etc

I got insured on my 2ltr when i was 19 with no NCB for 1200 fc

I now pay £512 @ 22

i got a quote of £748tpft on my calibra se8, now insured asa named driver on it for £600fc!
