polyurethene bushes replace the crap rubber OE items, they fit to parts of the suspension and act as a shock absorber, but poly ones are much stronger and compress less than rubber ones.

they make the ride stiffer aswell. can get them for many parts on your car! i was gonna put them on my rear axel as iv just had them changed but decided on the OE items as they were alot cheaper
