Ive just taken the rear bumper off and have seen that the crash bar is bent into the body, which has dented it, on one side.

I got the car 2nd hand from Vauxhall in August and was told that it was hpi clear etc.....

Can I make them fix it or will they tell me to get lost?

the hpi check doesnt mean anything, its only for cars that have gone thru insurance to get fixed

u cnt really do anything about it

You can only do something if they specifically told you that the car was never in a crash. If you didn't ask and they didn't say you can't do bugger all.

when i slammed my brakes on behind you and my car locked up

Yeh it was and I nearly went into the car in front of me that slammed its brakes on.

I remember looking in my mirror and seeing a blue and white car skidding towards me

it might have been a minor prange though!

when i fitted trottys airdam he hit a van with his old bumper at a max of 20mph and his crash bar was fooked!

i would have thought if it was more serious you would see alot more damage!

go see them see what they say, never no if you kick up enough of a fuss they may replace it for you.
