I know this is a regular one but was wondering a couple of things about a digi dash. What EXACTLY will i need from the Astra, & will it be a big task to fit with my limited knowledge 
Also how long am i looking at it taking and how much.

need the dash, the connector plugs with a fair bit of loom on them, you need the gear box sender and as much cable on that as poss

you have to be careful because there are four types of transponser (the gearbox end) and vauxhall in their wisdom didnt use part numbers on them.
They are £80 a throw from Vauxhall so if you have the wrong one it could turn into a very expensive set of clocks.

any lads in my area done this to theirs, been lookin at a few picks of them in Corsa's and really makin me wanna invest in one myself

Or do what i planned till i decided to sell mine -
i had a set of vx220 clocks, needed a cav turbo hub sensor for the speed, electronic cable and lots of ecu wiring
but decided to sell so the clocks may go on the kit car if we dont get the stack unit

i got one in mine, and its a total ball ache to get in and get everything working right, i got the main things working, but it would fail a MOT

why would it fail an MOT Langey?
How does it look now it is in and everythin though?
What kind of work was involved?

they aint that hard to fit, i used to have ne in me sri 16v, i just think theyre poor really as the speedo cant keep up

becuase a few lights on the dash dont work when they should. no big problem really tho suppose.
its not exactly in, its more "resting" but the speedo, and rev counter and fuel guage and all that work. i'll show you one night if yuo want, let me know when your not working

well if u use the gear box transducer i have heard a few ppl having problem bout it not keeping up, but apprently if u have an electronic speedo like mine u can just us the sensor off that. also hardest thing to do is fit tit to make it look neat

i got a digi dash wit std corsa wires already soldered 2it. so just colour matchin them in2the corsa loom. just needs transponder from a astra gearbox. u2u me if ur interested
