Got a phone call from the garage who has my corsa at the mo to say that he has done the exhaust manifold gasket seal done; but he has tested the injectors whilst he had the rail out and a few of them were leaking, and all giving different readings. So he has ultra sonically cleaned them 5 times and got three of them consistant and the other one is still fooked. It is actually dented at the top where the rubber is and is pissing twice as much fuel in as necessary; no wonder the car is running bad and shite on fuel!! So thats another £80 onto the £120 bill and still have the lambna fault to sort

stop taking it to garrages that are going to rip you off
XE parts are abundant and knowlegde on this board is supurb why not use these resources as its the reason its here.
Injectors shouldnt cost more than £10 each for a start
I havent taken my car to a garrage in years I always use part/experience from on here form people like Lee mitchell and Dan.

im confused, why take the injector rail etc out to change the exhaust gasket
