I wish I could take cars apart like that, and put them back together again obviously! Looks quite interesting and technical.

lol, yes it is my diet coke.

bottom end went in first as i no longer have my gorrvy engine stand and its a little bit easier to do stuff this way round IMO!

should be pretty straight forward 1.4 to 1.6, pretty much identical. Are you fitting all the performance parts once its in?

smoothie, yes engine and box out in one go...

sly_sri, yes pretty much, doing head gasket and all the other gaskets on the head. also doing cam belt removing air con (means new mount) fitting some 244 cams

siberia, using the 1.6 head.
