i used to have a bmw 540i as a fun car and a modded clio as a toy!! was great had the best of both worlds,,,,then fucked the cylinder head on the bm and had to keep using the clio--crashed that!! needed a runabout so bought a 820si and proceeded to smash it to,,,so needed another car and bought the fto which ran great and i had slowed down so all good till 1 nite sum scumbag torched both my clio and bm,,neither were insured due to it being on the fto so i lost the two of them

buy the flat

and btw iv just bought another fun car so my advise is totally stupid anyway

I run the Corsa as a second car, its basically 400 quid to insure, 165 to tax (more than the Astra, bizarrely), needs MOT, fuel and washing and will probably break at some point. Its not cheap like considering how much I use it, which isn't much. Done about 1000 miles in it in 18 months.

If your insurance doesnt cover u to have more than one car on your policy it could be very expensive as Im sure your only alloewd to use your no claims on 1 policy and not 2 so ud have to chose between using your NC on a scooby or a modded corsa!

Admiral matched my NCB on the new policy when I got the Corsa. Surprised me though as up until then I had not heard of others insurers doing that.

Yeah I was under the same impression as I wasnt allowed to add another car to my policy for a week I had to take out a new one. Didnt do it in the end though.

I never drive the silver car anymore, maybe 200/300 miles a year, which is a shame as I do love the car... Just always use the gsi for going out and about as I'm not fussed about parking anywhere/it being cleane etc.
