Could anyone tell me the difference between the 106 quiksilver and the XR quiksilver which comes with bump strips and hubcaps rather than mine which came with alloys as standard. Cheers.

they only did one type of quick silver.

Thats what I thought but my mate is looking to get one cos hes fallen in love with mine, this is mine as it stands, totally standard...

sure thats not got GTi alloys fitted later on?

theres a 106 QS in my street and has no alloys and no bump strips.

alloys where an option and then they out them on as standard from a certain year.

Maybe just slightly better spec model, didnt some of the older pre-facelift corsa sports come with steel wheels

That was in 2000, thought it might be a pre 2000 model but its the same reg

sri's came with steelies and wheeltrims at one point...sports never did don't think, maybe wrong.

Alloys were an option all the way upto facelift 97 except on the gsi!
