get the compact!
Was looking at them on saturday. The lad in the shop said the screen is much much better than the normal road angel. Dont bother with laser tho because it takes the police half a second to get a reading so its too late by the time you have been alerted.

I have the Road Angel 2 and it seems good. Had it about 2 months.
I'm not 100% confident with the laser alert yet, as people say that the cops can get you before your Road Angel alerts you :think:

mum nd dad both had road angel 2, they're based about a mile from where i work so i always have a look at there new stuff  they shud be bringing out a unit with GPS and the road angel functions soon iirc which will be worth the wait but in all honesty the compact is a bargain compared to the road angel 2
dunno about wat was said on the laser above but it's worked twice with me in the car for some reason but i dunno if they were actually aiming it at us or it just picked it up

Laser alerts do work
Ive been lasered by a cop car following me once, it scared the life out of me!

I had one, it got nicked about a month ago though.. 
Saved my license many times in terms of fixed cameras, especially when travelling through unknown areas..
Laser alert does work, but only to alert you that you've BEEN zapped by which time you're stuffed as my court summons proves..
