does this annoy anyone else?

Whenever i install a programme i have to select English (US) but there is no English (UK). its our fcuking language

Why isn't there a English (Proper) and an English (for yankees who think that they came up with the idea first) option

Because otherwise the Yanks would be searching in the 'U' section of the drop down list for 'United States'. The dumb fucks. They have to be reminded that English is their language.

Am I right in saying that an American who speaks English is English? American English?... cos they speak English, and Spanish people speak Spanish and that's what they are, and so on.

EDIT*** The reason I ask is cos we all were arguing about this the other night in the pub.
