got pulled, and my mums car got no mot, im insured and its taxed etc

No MOT does NOT carry any points.

Just a fine and court costs.

Go and get it MOT'd now, you should be ok

Yes Mossy.

There is no legal requirement to keep old MOT's, so they cannot prove anything.

Even if you got it a week later it would get dropped.

Nobody is really bothered about no MOT offences. Licence and Insurence yes.

I drove without MOT for 5 months just to proove a point

The MOT only proves that its road worthy... The fact that you're handing in an MOT certificate that was issued after you were pulled, shouldn't really matter.
