went to PTS in Luton on sunday and did a power run

i'm well chuffed with the power figure, its about 10bhp more than i was expecting
the torque curve is a little bit scary, but i'm not too fussed as i picked up a 1.6 on the sunday afternoon, and its in the process of being serviced

all my tuning bits will bolt straight onto the 1.6 as its the same engine with different cylinder bore
i also have some cams to go in the 1.6 so it'll be a teeny little bit naughty

still got beaten by everthing elsoe though
there was 3 other corsas there
a GSi which made 117.something bhp
a C20XE which made 156 or so
and a GSiLET which made 249 i think
Teddy didnt run as he had a slight hiccup on the way, which brosters video will reveal

117 the GSI got, what he done to it? Just iduction kit n exhaust manifold?

think it must have had something else done to it too matt, like a superchip as 8bhp is a lot from an exhaust and filter

think it had exhaust system and air filter from what the dude was saying, but he was getting throttle bodies soon....
the gsi made similar power to paul w's gsi with the same mods, infact i sware he made 117bhp on two different sets of rollers...
matt what did you get done to your engine in the end...?

What did dan get with the immac cav turbo ?
did rich run tje skunky astra if so what power ?
what abouts daves 2ltr corsa - cav turbo rims ?
did ant run with the astra gsi 2ltr, power ?

the skunk astra did run, but they stopped the run at 4k rpm, it was making 222bhp at that point.... also the rocker cover gasket went on it...
dan made 260ish.
not sure about dave or ant....

yes 117.7bhp on one, 117.4bhp on the other...
both said 110lb/ft torque too...
pipercross induction kit, grp-n lexmaul exhaust, decat, standard manifolds...

Dan got 256 - which is near on 20 from last year - but he only had 15bhp tranmission loss Something really wrong there!
Reg ran the Astra but like Broster said the rocker cover gave way at 222bhp
