I am looking for a completely standard X16XE for tuning purposes

had a look in classified but dont really fancy buying a whole car just for engine.

Do Vauxhall sell engines? would rather not get a re-conned one as I want to do that myself......

Any ideas/suggestions as to best place to look would be great.

Scrap yard, take all the bits off of it and return the lump to Vauxhall in exchange for a factory re-conned engine which has 0 miles on it... You can't get better than that

Yea, but it's the best you can do...

You can re-con the engine which is second best...

Then you can just take the persons word that the engine is fine and slap it in. Then it breaks and your fucked...

His is a c16xe i think. i just kept a eye out on here for mine..
