It looses the equivalent of its VAT as soon as you drive it out of the dealership - thats the only down side to new cars.

But if you buy a brand new car and keep it for over 3/4/5 years it doesnt really matter imo.

My Astra is all mine, I don't pay any finance on it.
However, petrol and regular maintenance costs =

Im not buying it tho so I dont loose anything on it 
Can just give it back in 3 years time and get something better. Comes with 2 years warranty as standard and the road tax is included in the lease.

Insurance is only £400 a year, the tax is included as its leased and all cars require petrol but at least the astra is econimical. Should set me back about £320 a month incl petrol.
