Ive left my lights on and battery has gone dead. How do I go about jumpstarting?

find someones whos battery isnt dead that has a set of jump leads, attach them to your battery and theirs and voila
or call the aa/rac

not advisable to bumps start cars that have catalytic converters

The pushing thing is when they push it down the road jump in and hope it starts. if it wont then at least you'll have got about 8 foot down the road

thats a myth, once will be fine, the only problem is the neat petrol entering the cat if engine is flooded.

hehe noted. HOY, will be fine to bumpstart using jump leads, or use the hill method and hope the alternator picks up enough charge to start

Bumpstart it

Get someone to push you along at a fast walking pace. Keep it in First with the clutch on the floor. Ignition turned on so you have Dash lights.

When you're going along Drop the clutch and give it a little bit of Gas. Wahey!
