i know its down to the director making it more "scary" but TBH some of the stupid shit people do in horror movies is just crap
like Dawn of the Dead when that black dude and his zombie wife and he wants to care for the zombie baby cos he has some serious attitude problem and ends up shooting that old lady.. STUPID
Wrong Turn where they have the "mountain men" that kill those people who crashed their car. could they not use their mobiles and call for help ? i know they did get a message out and the copper got an arrow through the eye for his troubles.. but why didnt they roll in the national guard for those "mountain men"
seems to be a lot of stuff that the directors really dont give the viewers any credit for.. most of the time you think "i really wouldnt go near that old spooky looking house with the funny light comming out of it"

The thing that gets me the most about horror films or just scary scenes is when people walk into the room.

I always shout when we watch scarey films ... like why the fuck when they have to do somthing, they always choose the most obvious thing to do? EG, in a haunted house ... i would run straight out. But in a film they will walk slowlllyyyyyyyy upto a door ... slowwwwwllllyyyy push the door open ... walk into the room in pitch black (why not try and find a light?!?!?!?) walk into the room ... then BOOM somthing happens!
