In an effort to save some cash, I have decided to take the bus to and from work as of today (monday), and only use my Astra when I have to go shopping or go somewhere out of Oxford!

£16 per week for a "Plus Pass" - which I can use on any bus in Oxford - is better than the current £30-£50 per week I am spending on petrol!

Only thing is it'll take me about 1.5 hours each way as opposed to 20 minutes by car...

Oh well... desperate times call for desperate measures as they say.

Hmmm I was quite surprised my entire journey to work only took 45 minutes!

Although I did get on the bus by my house at 7am.

I have to phone up the bus company that goes to my area later, because the driver told me I can't use the pass I wanted to get where I live, so I might have to get two seperate bus passes...

If it costs more than petrol, then I guess I'll have to go back to using my car for work...
