The Law is anycar without Tax, Should have SORN? And be off the road.

Well theres been a Saxo sitting in the Ally-way outside my back gate for a few days.. and its tax ran out on the 31-5-2004 <----

And I thought the DVLA had a System to catch people like this.

Is grassing to the police/dvla bad? cause they could tow the car away? and crush the car.. or maybe they could give me it cause I wouldnt mind a little runabout

I may be wrong, but doesn't driving without valid tax invalidate your insurance?

They probably dont have insurance to tax it... the car has been parked in different areas in my estate.

It's Just Buggin me, how they got away with it!

How the fuck has it evaded this DVLA comp System!

if its declared sorn then the DVLA will leave you alone. If the police catch you driving a sorn'd car, then you get bummed.

when i crashed my car(which was taxed) the insurance only asked for V5, Mot and some other bits but NOT the tax disc, so if i didnt have tax i wud of got away with it! .......... so dont think insurance ask for tax, but if they knew they would try n make your policy void i guess.

I REALLY like that Idea!

I might leave it for a while..

How would I do that then? When someone eventually does report it?

Will Do So.

It's the 1.1 model Saxo.

I could do with a cheap car for when I take my corsa off the road for much needed work.,
