this is true. Sounds funny but I would love to watch my team struggle and have to survive relegation.
Imagine being a west brom fan last season. To them something like that is as exciting as winning the league.
Or you could support Ipswich, finnishing 5th in the Premier League in the 00/01 season was like, was like like like just amazing
Two seasons in a the Uefa Cup and beating Inter Milan at Portman Road in the 01/02 season.
Now we loose to Burnley

at least it's a bit of a rollercoaster ride for you Ollie, exciting
Imagine supporting chelsea right now... win after win after win.
I got bored when arsenal had their run and actually wanted them to beat Man Utd so we could get to 50 and then lose.
Honestly

Pongolle is only 20 and will come good, he had an excellent game agaisnt Utd and Real Betis.
Crouch has played well for us so far considering he is upfront on his own. I admist I thought 7m was too much but has shown some good stuff so far!
He definilty shouldnt be played in tough away games as is too weak, but has scored plenty of important goals so is hardly a bad player!
Traore had a solid game last night, and did most of last season. He changed ALOT of liverpool supporters opinions on him last year.

he really isnt there to score 20+ goals a season, he is there more to be a target man to bring balls down for the wingers coming in. Hence why he seems to insit on playing garcia and cisse on the wings!
He will probably get 12-15 goals this season, which along with setting up a fair few for Morientes and Cisse, will do me!

So he gets the ball to the wingers, what then? surely he should notch a few with his head! the ball has to get back from the wing to the centre at some point. You don't need to be 6ft 7 to be able to hold the ball up, any player worth his salt should be able to do that with his back to goal imo.

No, your not getting Liverpools style of play. Benitez is playing with one upfront with two wingers that come in behind the front man. They arent playing as out and out wide men, but rather running in behind the striker and onto goal themself.
He did want to buy a right sided winger to play theose balls over, but couldnt get on in the transfer window. So cant play with the three we have for the left side, Kewell, Riise and Zenden.

Oh i see, A winger imo is a wide man, hence being down the wing, thats where the confusion was, whereas we meant play the ball to the two floating front men who are dropped into the hole. In essense then there should be plenty of attacking options with the 3 front men, Just was't happening though,
he would be better with 2 front men, one with pace to get behind the defenders which would leave that space for Gerrard to rome into.
In that case Benitez is having a nightmare.

They arent just roaming front men though, as still defend, just come inside when attacking, so just arent out-and-out wingers like duff and robben.
But yeah, he should be playing with cisse and crouch upfront, and not sure why he isnt! He is being tactially sound for defending though , as we have only conceeded 2 this season

Liverpool deserved to win imo. Highlight of the 2 days for me has to be Ronaldhinio (sp) That hat trick was supreme the little jink to win the penalty was world class.

The way I see it is...we won the champions league beating Juventus, Chelsea and AC on the way. We are well on the way to getting through the group stages this time, and we are still unbeaten in the prem this season!
Did it not take you 4/5 games to score your first goals from open play? Or am I making that up? It's all about The Championship Much more exciting then that defensive premiershite rubbish.

we scored 1 in our 2nd game against Sunderland, then 2 in our 4th. Have scored 3 in 5 in total with 1 win and 4 draws. Beat Sunderland, drew against middlesbrough away (they beat arsenal already there this season!), birmingham away (beat us last year), Tott away (excellent side this year) and Man U at home.
Thats not bad going if you ask me. Plus we scored 2 away at real betis, not forgetting how many we scored in the champs qualifiers!

yeh, playing 1 up front is for boring foreign teams, having foreign managers and coaches over here is bad for the game, liek united number two - hes completely boring and defensive, which isnt the united way ! we used to attack any fucker even if we got beat, but now all the premiership teams play boring football (except arsenal but for some reason they cant win anymore) something needs to be done ! lmao
