ayup everyone , just got my new corsa sport 1600 cc . changed the the insurance and it looks like from renewal they will be wanting about 2800 quid out of arse pocket , no thanks !!! i will be 20 and have one years no claims . does any1 no any cheap insurers . tried flux and they want nearly 2500 which i was surprised with . any help would be appreciated , cheers

you must have convictions or something... im 18 0 ncb and can get insured on a 1.6 for 1263.45

this is getting silly now, i've paid more in insurance over the years than the value of all my cars

never crashed either, gets to the point of feeling your just paying for others mistakes

im 20, 0 no claims and 3points and im insuring for £600 odd quicd with churchill, try http://www.elephant.co.uk they'll do a quote with quinns car insurance and they are the cheapest i've found, just waiting for my renewal date to change over

try www.confused.com & get them to search for you. not sure if they are much use if car is modded though, i have a feeling they give you the "sorry we are unable to help" if you say yes to mods, although worth looking as i could be wrong.

Best quote I could get for my 1.4 sport fully comp with all mods declared was £500 (would have been £400 if car was standard) I'm 26, 2 yrs ncb & no points or claims, that was with norwich union. Flux wanted over £900 which they said was because I have business cover on my policy! Cant say i'd recommend NU particularly highly tho, they were crap to deal with after i had a crash (not my fault) but I'd rather that than pay nearly double!

1500 FC with 0 NCB, 23 years old and 3 points on license (TS10)

Group 18 car too - not too bad I think
