Hi guys

Just need a bit of help really. Ive got a photo in a sepia sort of colour that I want to put onto a cream coloured invitation. Instead of having it hard around the edges I wanted to make the edges a little transparent so that it looks more part of the paper. Anyone any ideas how I can do this. I have Photoshop at home (but have never used it) but as Im at work does anyone know any free or trial software I can do this on?

Cheers in advance guys!!!

Stu

Create a new layer, make it white (or whateva colour you want the background.

Get the eraser tool and make the brush size huge, then rub around the edges.

thats the way id do it

Is that with photoshop Dave?

My only problem aill be that the rear later will need to be exactly the same colour as the paper?

Ive had another idea.

The picture is now in greyscale, I want to print it onto cream coloured card but I want the white parts of the picture to become transparent so they dont 'print' if you know what I mean?

Is it possible?

Cheers
