The a380 looks quite well proportioned, the a340 just looks very very very long mad pics

yes the A340 looks like it might snap in half. the A340-500 looks more proportioned, although the engines look waaaaay too big for it. its a good thing though, since the original A340-200/300 series were underpowered on take-off and used to struggle on hot days in humid climates thanks to throttle drop-off
