always make me wonder why vxl newver made a 1.6 C ?? do u not think that if they did they would have been a good sale?

They have made a 1.8 instead i suppose this replaced the 1.6

As corsa_godfather says they did just never put it on the production line, orignally vxl tested a 1.6 turbo & 2.0 turbo in the face lift C, however the last i heard was they'll be a corsa VXR when they launch the corsa D model

my money is on a VXR using a turbocharged 1.6 unit. the development is there for the Z16XE, its just a case of implementing it this time

I reckon if they had made a 1.6 it wouldnt have been massively popular cos i dont think it would have been that quick. I have had a blast with a 1.8 sri on the slip road and seemed to only pull on me the slightest but that was by the time we had reached nearly a ton and was in fourth gear

SRi should be faster than a GSi/Sport in any situation. it weighs about 100kg more, but has an extra 20bhp.

they did make a corsa c 1.6 gsi but due to the timing of it decided not to produce it due to the fact the new corsa d will be launched in the spring and vxr in the autum of 2006
