Im know one of the vodka bars in Northampton have stuff over 100% proof kept behind the bar in on a self hidden, not too sure theyre able to sell it legally

Proof is double the measurement you are thinking of.

And from what i've read in the past its other ingredients that do the damage in absinthe and not the alcohol content.
