i no you can do it on files which you made in Word but not sure if you can do it on a folder,

theres some computer people on the site so iam sure they will be able to answer your question

Why not just create your own log in on the computer, me and brother have different accounts with passwords that way we cant go into each others folders etc

you can get around those user accounts on Windows XP way too easy. do it all the time at work when no-one knows nothing

how do you do that andrew, u2u me how to do it cause my parents have put a password on the computer when you start it up and i want to get around it

name it 'college work' or something, so noone looks in there. or hide it in the folder options so its not visible

Just set the folders hidden attribute to on and then make sure you cannot view hidden folders on your PC. When you need to open the folder type in the folder loaction in the 'run' box.

just save it in you windows in C: drive or something

set it as hidden, then change the folder options to not display hidden files and folders

thn lock the foler...

name it the spice girls or sommit crap
