I have a '93 WRX. To fill the tank will cost about £45 with shell optimax and il get about 250 miles out that if i drive everywhere in 5th and under 3.5k revs. Once u let the turbo spin, the fuel gauge just drops The more mods u put on the lesser the mpg's. I have an induction kit and 3" de-catted exhaust system.
The insurance is obviously a major cost, as is parts and servicing. Scooby parts are just sooo expensive!
Also, things like replacing 4 17" low pro tyres at the same time and changing the oil every 3k miles with fully synthetic 15w/50 oil adds to the costs.
But, in my opinion its worth every penny

Hey buddy how's the bottm end on your P1? I registered on the P1 site, seems like there are a fair few people on there peed off about the bottom end going bang and a 4-5k repair bill! Common problem with them apparantly.

I think the best way to run a scoob is to have a cheap to run second car and save the scoob for weekends, shows, runs etc.
