If so what do you drive and how do you find it?
I'm spending 40 a week on petrol at the moment as I work 25 miles away. Considering the change. Insurance on my VTI is £130 a month too

i got a berlingo van its pathetic does about 120 miles to £20 sooo bad, worst thing ever, not even turbo'd  costs me a fortune

I'm changing to a CDTi vectra soon (hopefully). I currently drive a 1.2 sporting punto to work so get 40mpg anyway lol

I have a diesel, 1.7corsa, it goes miles and miles on its £10/week allowance, its done 130,000miles and its never broke down, except needing a new alternator ive never spent a penny on it, after having that i'll never have a petrol again, the cost would be too much of a shock for me

as my corsa got hit by a farmer the other nite i got a yaris turbo diesel frm insurance 4 now and its pretty quick for wot it is and does up2 72 mpg and so far its doin really well

306 td 50 quid will get me 700- 800 miles,
im 50 quid a week
i was 120 quid a week in my corsa GSi lol hense the change to the 306

Got a Mercedes C200 CDi Sports Coupe.
Cost me £56 to fill up on diesel ultimate stuff.
So far done 220 miles, and still got half a tank of diesel. result.

my company car is a 1.7 astra, does between 400-500 miles per tank, at around 50 quid
company pays for it, soi dont care

Same here. The work's van is a 1.7D, 130,000 miles, Really reliable! Bout 150miles to £10, thats short journeys.
