its pretty bloody dangerous, those exhaust gases exit the engine at over 700degrees

you could say that trying to sort an apprenticeship out wit Qantas at the moment to do Aircraft Mechanical Engineering

aint got a clue mate, i work in aero repair and overhaul, we do all the servicing and repairs etc, as these engines are new we havnt seen any in our shop yet, there only next door, but pretty god damn impressive

yes indeed, some amazing technology gone into it, nice to see RR still competing with Engine Alliance. i cant wait to start work with Qantas, wanna get my hands dirty on a nice RB211 off a 744
