got a dvd from holiday , just tried it in my dvd player and it dont play it , i also have a porno that wont play on mine but will my mates?

could they be vcds? and can any dvd player play them?

or can i get anything for my pc that can play them? although i only have a cd writer and not a dvd?

Do a Google search on unlocking or cracking the make and model of the DVD player, most of them can be made region free with certain codes that you enter by pressing certain remote control buttons in a specific order - I got a cheap £25 one from Tesco's unlocked it and it'll play anything!
