.....run hotter if u only had water in it instead of coolant/anti freeze?

Not really, the main purpose of antifreeze is to stop the coolant freezing. It also helps protect against corrosion. It increases the boiling point of the coolant from 100 degrees, so you should really use some.

yes it would run hotter, coolant would boil over and fuck the engine

it wouldnt cause the engine to run hotter but the boiling point of the coolant would be lower therefore causing the engine to boil over and fry things
