My Passport runs out on 31/01/2006.

Can i use it to go on Holiday in October 2005???

Only 4 months and I am sure that you need six months on your passport to travel, Thats why I am asking

cant remember if its 6 months or 3 try the passport office

it depends where you are going... different places like different lengths of time, i know to travel to canada you have to have 6 months, but not sure if eu are a bit more lenient

Is it the Warsaw convention that states that technically you don't need a passport to travel around Europe? But anyway, for European travel your passport runs out when it runs out...

For some coutries thate are specific visa requirements, so it depends on your destination what rules they apply.

It need to be valid for 6 months after the date of return

when i went to tunisia i needed a passport valid for at least 6 month as it was outside europe, if its in europe then its ok...i think
