well my brother finished building the engine in the CDX last night, got the car for £500, 2 bent valves, Down to snaped cam belt at some point. All new valves skimed re seated full gasket and seal set a little welding on the head as it had some cracks as result of bent valves, put it all back together last night with full new oil change (Putoline) Fully synth. started first time and thats after not running and been left Untouched by last owner for 10 months. Runs like a dream with no tapping what so ever after its been run a few mins.
