I was with my ex on and off for about 3 years. Last time we split I ended up going with some stupid bint off here, that was a complete disaster (long story) but anyway the ex and I got back together briefly but we started to piss each other off so we split for good last year.
Now it's got to the point where we don't speak to each other at all now and we will have nothing to do with each other - 
I suppose the point of my post is if you two were/are really into each other and you don't fuck each other off like me and the bitch did, then give it a go, you've nothing to lose and everything to gain, as they say.

Well I got back with mine after he strayed, and everything is fine at the moment, was together 2 years split up for 5 months and now been together about a year again.
Depends on the circumstances I think, it's definately hard when someone strays, the trust thing.

she pulled some one else after we split, but that does not bother me at all.
i think it is the trust thing thats why we split before she left to go on a course for 5 months.
i was too interested in going out than being with her at the time.
she still has feelings for me and she says she does not want me to ruin her independency for when she moves to uni in a years time.
