Hi people im thinking about takin my rub strips off the side of my corsa. I was just wondering what u lot think about these things, should i or should i not?
Im new to this forum in fact i aint passed my driving test yet but its booked for the 7th oct.
I have got meself a little silver 1.0 12v corsa tho. I know what u are all thinkin "a 1.0l" its all can aford at tho mo with the insurance sky high coz of where i live.
I took the badges off the back end last nite and looks better already. also planing on getting the boot smooth'd after i finish my ice install. Just got me alpine 9855R hu.
Anyway let me know what your views are.

I did plan to take mine off but i decided against it and the other day a woman opened her car door and smacked it into the bump strip so im pretty glad i left them

Alrite mate,don't wory bout the 1.0l its what i got aswell lol.i reckon you should take ya rubbing strips off,i did mine n it looks much better :thumbs If you have any problems let us know

Ive got a silver corsa, ive had my rub strips painted silver, personally i prefer it with them painted as it breaks up the space a bit.

yer just been readin that the silver ones leave marks on the car so might leave them on lol
Yours looks nice what i can see of it joe, any chance of bigger pic?
and fresh_creps im glad in away that its a 1.0 with the price of petrol these days lol and im not gonna be braking any speed limits.

loads more in garage mate, mine didnt leave any marks underneath when i took em off to change them

cool i will see how i feel 2moro, if she (the other half) does me head in i might just rip them off to see lol
is it costly to get the lot coded? I dont really want to mess with things like that. I like installing the ice mostly.

de-stripped cars look daft if exterior is standard, leave on and colour code.
should be around 250-300 for arches, bumbers and rubstrips.
