If all is well, im buying one of these tonight...

Imported 4 months ago by a friend of a friend... 66k... WRC spoiler.... White OZ wheels... HKS BOV.......

Have got a good mate of mine coming up to look the car over, he works on MR2 turbos all day every day, so knows the engine side of things inside out (MR2 and GT4 use the same engine, which is hand built by yamaha apparently )...

I know a few peeps on here have owned them, so is there anything I should be looking out for??

Cant wait for my first 4WD experience... been in a mates scoob, and a tuned Evo 8.... but never driven anything 4WD before....

(actually, I drove my dads Audi TT, but that was cack in a sack!)

All i can say is the engines in these are a GEM, you can get HUGE amount of power from them, and to start with a good power increase wont cost the earth

Correct about having the same engine as the MR2 turbos...only difference is that in the GT4 the engine faces the other way...

Power increases are silly easy to obtain.

my mates MR2 tubbie ran a 12.9 qtr with minimal mods... just electronic boost control and a zaust system

Whats a shame young Teddy?

I will be keeping the GTE name going...

but instead this car has a 3S - GTE (engine code) giving 242 @ 6000rpm
