B.L.S. (Black Label Society)
Ozzy's lead guitarist from 1988 (and still is on a part time basis when he's touring) Zakk Wylde fronts BLS.
He put together Pride and Glory for one album (cool as f*ck also) after playing lead for Ozzy from the age of seventeen, he also produced an album under his own name called 'Book of Shadows' and then went on to form Black Label.
Got all his albums, (each one is a work of art) and seen them live.
Best non English metal band on the planet. Nobody shreds like Zakk
Even better than Corrosion of Conformity, Down, Alice in Chains, Audioslave, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Panterra, Monster Magnet and Metalica (all favourites of mine too).
I cannot emphasise enough how much anyone that likes proper music should listen to 'Label' if they've not already done so.
I can heartily recommend 'Hangover music volume 6', 'The Blessed Hellride' and their new album 'Mafia' as good starting points for any 'Label' virgin, in fact, just buy any or all of their albums, they're all amazing.
The opening of track one on Blessed Hell Ride is shocking and relentless though, so if you were gonna buy one album, that would give you the best idea of how heavy they can get.
Their 'Boozed Broozed and Broken Boned' live DVD is excellent too.
So, get some Label everyone and report back
